15.03.2019 Evgenia Zusman, a partner of You & Partners, gave a comment to the New Prospekt magazine on why investors are in no hurry to conclude concession agreements.

Evgenia noted that the formats of PPP and concessions can hardly be called universal, despite the fact that the lists of the potential PPP and concession agreements objects are extensive. As for the choice between PPP and other investment models, for example, choosing between a government contract or an auction under the land code, depends on the investment parameters of the project, namely: payback periods, investment volumes, the investor's ownership of a land plot, and so on. In other words, it is necessary to make a comprehensive assessment of the parameters of the future project and, based on its results, make a decision, which format of interaction with the state to choose.
