Professional standard in PPPs - a new mandatory quality indicator?

On 20 July 2020, the Ministry of Labour of the Russian Federation approved the professional standard "Specialist in public-private partnership project management". You & Partners prepared a research on the new professional standard. Some of the issues that were covered in the research included: its possible risks and benefits of its application, the impact of the standard on contractual and employment relations and its effect on procurement procedures.
The outcomes of the research:
- The professional standard "PPP Project Management Specialist" is not mandatory, but employers need to use it as a basis for determining qualification requirements for employees.
- The professional standard "PPP Project Management Specialist" may have an impact on participants in PPP procurement and service delivery.
